Privacy Policy

Fair Go, operated by Fair Go, Inc. ("Fair Go," "we," "us," or "our"), helps you understand your medical bills and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Documents you upload — EOB and medical-bill PDFs or photos.
- Parsed bill data — the structured charges, codes, amounts, and provider names we extract from your documents.
- Audit findings — the analysis our system generates about your bills, and any notes or feedback you add.
- Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password.
What we do NOT store
We automatically strip high-risk personal identifiers from the data we keep. We do not store patient names, member/subscriber IDs, Social Security numbers, or similar identifiers in our database — they are removed or redacted immediately after a document is processed.
How we use your data
We use your documents and parsed data only to produce your audit results and to operate and improve the service for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
AI processing (subprocessor)
To read your documents and generate findings, we send their contents to Anthropic, our AI subprocessor, for processing. We do not use your documents to train AI models. Source documents still contain personal details at the moment they are read; see retention below for how we limit how long they exist.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded source files (PDFs/photos) are deleted immediately after they are successfully processed. Any file left behind by a failed upload is automatically deleted within 7 days.
- Parsed bill data and findings are kept in your account until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can request a copy (export) of your data, or ask us to delete your account and all associated data, at any time by emailing support@myfairgo.com. We will process verified requests promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit what we store and how long we store it.
Third-party providers
We rely on third-party providers and subprocessors (such as our AI provider, hosting, and infrastructure vendors) to operate the service. We choose reputable providers, but we do not control their systems or operations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fair Go, Inc. is not responsible or liable for the acts or omissions of these providers that are outside our control — including data breaches, leaks, unauthorized access, or any failure to comply with applicable data-privacy laws on their part.
